ON AUG 1ST STATE OF MO. CAME AND RIPPED MY BOYS OUT OF MY ARMS... BECAUSE.. I DIDN'T HAVE CUSTODY OR GUARDIANSHIP YET!! MY WORLD IS OVER... I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY BABYS!!
I WAS HOTLINED ON BOGUS BULLSHIT... EVEN THO SANDRA SPORTSMAN FOUND IT TO BE UNSUBSTANCIATED.. AS SHE WOULD HAVE TAKEN CUSTODY RIGHT THEN AND THERE.. 7 DAYS LATER AFTER SHE FOUND I DID NOT HAVE GUARDIANSHIP... SHE STOLE MY BOYS!!!! I WANT THEM BACK!!! THE HEAD OF DFS TELLS ME THERE IS AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION... SO I AM NOT EVEN ALLOWED AND TYPE OF COMMUNICATIONS WITH MY BOYS.. NOT THAT I WOULD BE ALLOWED ANYWAY AS I AM NOT RELATED.. OR SO I'M TOLD I CAN'T EVEN ATTEND ANY COURT PROCEEDINGS...
HOW CAN THIS BE HAPPENING TO ME??

WHY ARE THEY BEING PUNISHED????
THE SAME MISSOURI LAW THAT SAID IT'S OK FOR THEM TO BE LEFT WITH ME.. IN A GOOD STABLE HOME... IS THE SAME MISSOURI LAW THAT ALLOWED DFS TO STEAL THEM BECAUSE I HAVE NO PAPERWORK!!!

ON JUNE 11th 2005 MISTY NICKERSON WALKED OUT ON HER THREE LITTLE BOYS... Anthony (5yrs) Cyrus (31/2) and Dayton (2yrs). By the grace of GOD she left them with me. In the 2 yrs she has been gone never once has she made an attempt to contact the boys in any way... with the acception of the middle one.. Cyrus. Almost 6 months after she had been gone she emailed his Dad, who was in Iraq in the middle of this horrible war. She told him I had stolen the boy's and would not give them back and how I was a horrible person. He of coarse was frantic.... he had been looking for his son for almost 2 yrs. It took her 6 emails and him begging her for my info, before she finally gave him my name addy and phone number. The first call was a bit .. confussing... heated...tearful.. ect .. though I knew it was in Cyrus best intrest to be with his "real" family, 2 months later when I drove him from Mo to Texas to give him to his grandparents(who came from AZ.) I was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. We keep in contact as much as we can. His father and step-mom both are in the military and they live in Germany.
Anthony and Dayton don't have fathers lised on birth certificates. They both carry Mistys step-fathers last name!! Misty never said who their father"s where. Only that Daytons was a bouncer in a strip club she "worked" at and He had no knowledge of Dayton. Which brings me to the delema I am now in. You would not think a "parent" could just walk away and have no legal repacussions but... I spent a year trying to get help thus family services, juvenile office, and procuetting attorney.. NO ONE WANTS TO GET INVOLVED!!! They all say that as long as the children are being properly cared for there was NOTHING they could do. I was advised I had 2 options... I could call the hotline and turn the boy's over to DFS at whitch time they would remove the boys from my home and put them into protective custody and they would then become wards of the state and go God only knows where, as I am in no way related to them. Or I could hire an attorney and try to adopt them. We lived with my daughter because I am unable to work due to health issues, and she only make $7 an hour as a CNA. I did contact several different attorneys... and was blown away by the money required to even began a case. I had to come with $5000 each to even start then another 2-3000 each before it would be final. 16 to $20,000!!! I was devasted and at my wits end. As it stands.. Misty can come in at any time with the law on her side.. and take my boys. She is a drug addict and has proven she doesn't give a damn about these little guys... I FEAR THE WORSE if I can't get something done SOON!! A year ago I met an angel Cheryl Stone with the Victim impact Panel. She was livid that nothing was being done to help me. She pulled some strings and would not give up.. she got me in with Legal Aid.. They don't handle adoptions however they do handle guardianship cases. At last I thought my boys would have some protection!! I believed things were going in the right direction... Unfortunately, legal aid is not really free.. I was required at first to find where Misty lived.. I pulled in some favors and due to Misty's criminal backround I did indeed have an address for them. I ended up doing all the "legwork" in order to get thing moving as fast as possible.... After believing paperworked had been filed in our county and due to Cheryls "connections" the courts had been advised to the situation.. I got another blow... I had to come up with $500 to put in an account for newspaper ads... filing fees... ect. needless to say... I can't come up with that any easier than I could $20,000. Then the next blow.. I read Cheryl's obiturary in the paper. I don't want everthing she did for us to be in vain... I just learned 3 days ago.. there has been nothing filed... Legal Aid now says I have to search for the boy's "fathers. That I have to prove I made every attempt to find them! plus I have only been able to send $100 of the $500. My daughter has since lost her job, so we have now had to move in with my ex-husband, who bless his heart has agreed to help us in having a roof and food until we can get back up on our feet. I tell myself every day.. what doesn't kill us will make us stronger.. So I'm not really asking for money per say.. What we desperatly need is an attorney who could maybe do a probona deal or something... ANTTHING TO PROTECT MY BOY'S !!
